Wella Hair Color

In 1880, Franz Stroher started making wigs for the fashion conscious people in Germany. He made wigs which are also water proof. What a success it was. People from all over would order more than three wigs at a time. But after the war, wigs are no longer in style. His inventions were considered as somewhat redundant. Nobody ordered from him and his shop almost closed down. But his sons Karl and Georg applied for a license to make permanent waves on hair; thus the name Wella (German for wave). This was a hit all the same. In the 1930’s almost all women want a perm.

This is considered as the golden stage for Wella. The company created more than just perm products. Wella hair color was also discovered during this time. But when the Second World War broke down, the salons discontinued their businesses. This also put a sudden halt on the Wella businesses. But right after the war finished, some of Wella’s very loyal employees started working again.

By the time it was 1950’s, the Wella company is in full blast. Up until the present, Wella is still the name we can count on when it comes to hair products. The company’s never-ending search for new and better techniques and products has earned them awards for best innovations. They continue to discover natural based hair products and this is also more and more popular because of the current problem on global warming.

Wella hair color has been a household name when it comes to dyeing. It is automatic for women to mention the name “Wella” whenever they talk about going to the salon or something. They have a wide array of hair colors you can choose from. All of their products are safe, affordable, and environment friendly. No wonder salons from all over the world rely on this brand for utmost hair care.
Let the best look come out.

The stylists at Wella Salon are guaranteed to give you a detailed customer care. They know that the reason why most people go to the salon is to feel good about them. Although you still have the final say, salon experts would guide or help you in choosing right Wella hair color for you. A shade that would best fit your skin tone and your personality as well. It is their job as hair professionals to give you advice on the right thing to do.

The best thing about Wella hair color is because it is made from natural ingredients, the color stays longer than other products and it does not leave a cloying smell on the hair. It also does not leave hair dry and damaged. A lot of people have mentioned that they can go to a party or to the mall right after having their hair dyed. The smell is not as strong as other hair color products.

When you visit a Wella Salon, you may be surprised to find out that they can mix a color especially for you. Together with the expert colorist, you may explore personalized colors and effects using Wella hair color. This is perfect as there are times when we want a little something of this and that; something that we cannot find in one bottle only. This is the reason why Wella has come up with the personalized color idea.

They want to give their customers complete salon satisfaction.
Who would not want a hair that is beautifully but artificially colored but looks totally natural? Experts believe that Wella hair color has enough hair nutrients to make your hair retain its natural shine bounce. They focus not only on the color but the health of the hair as well. The experts or professionals in this company have been trained to make hair their masterpiece. As a matter of fact, Wella hair care professionals have received numerous awards on hair care.

Finish your look with cut and style. Your personal stylist can advise you on the best cut you can carry. The cut should be in harmony with your Wella hair color; each one supporting the other. But whatever hair color or hair cut you have, or want to have, one thing is very important to note. You should know or should learn how to carry yourself. The way you walk and talk can say so many things about you.

Beautiful hair will give people a good first impression but it is your personality which would make a more lasting impression to your acquaintances. Do not experiment with a hair style that you know does not fit your personality. It would just look very awkward. When taking care of your dyed hair, make sure you use a shampoo that is made especially for colored hair. These shampoos contain more hair nutrients that would help in restoring the washed out hair gloss.

Over The Counter Chemical Peels: Should You Be Using These Peels?

Author: Cavyl Stewart

Over the counter chemical peels are affordable and easily available beauty treatments to help people get revitalized skin. These are milder versions of the professional chemical peels - the body treatment technique which promotes skin regeneration. The new skin that replaces the old layers is smoother and gives off that youthful appearance. These do-it-yourself peels may take longer than a professional one to have effects, but the price difference is significant, and with results in as little as a week, they are a viable alternative. They are also easy to use, and can be applied at home, versus having to visit a doctor's office or spa.

Using Over the Counter Chemical Peels

Over the counter chemical peels are basically light chemical peels that can help people get a more youthful appearance by treating wrinkles and other skin conditions while giving skin a vibrant glow. They use similar but diluted acids as professionally-applied peels. These are still effective though. One of the most commonly used acids is alpha hydroxyl or AHAs, namely glycolic acids.

These naturally-occurring acids (they can be found in sugar cane juice, for example) are the mildest of chemical peeling formulas. A glycolic acid-based peel gently penetrates the upper layers of the skin and aids skin regeneration, or basically sloughing away the dead upper layers of the skin to make way for a younger new layer. Another common acid used is salicylic acid - these peels work well on sebum, and can benefit those suffering from acne greatly.

Of course, reading and understanding the usage instructions of over the counter chemical peels is still very important for you to do. These diluted chemicals are still potent enough to cause damage when used improperly or when overexposure occurs, such as chemical burns that can scar and discolour the skin. These at-home peels also shouldn't contain more than 10% glycolic acid, as greater concentrations are too harsh.

Ideally, you should try a bit of the chemical peel on an patch of unexposed skin; this way, if there are any adverse reactions, the affected area will not be exposed in public. After proper application of the product, the skin may become sensitive to touch, and possibly red and puffy. These are effects of the chemicals in the peel working, and should not be scratched lest they turn worse. These side effects will fade in a couple of days, revealing a new layer of youthful looking skin where the peel was applied.

Where Can I Get These Peels?

Over the counter chemical peels are a more affordable yet still effective non-surgical means to getting younger-looking, revitalized skin. At around 25 to 40 dollars, they are a far cry from the hundreds or even thousands of dollars that professional peels can cost. Most local drug stores will offer these products, or you can purchase them online. As a cheaper yet still effective beauty treatment, these products should definitely be considered by anyone looking to improve their skin.

  4. QUESTION:
I'm a new hairstylist, just took state boards, feeling discouraged about making this happen. Any help please?
I just took my state boards 3/22, and I am supposed to start working in a salon here in Oklahoma City, that has a reputation for "doin' hair," I don't have a lot of experience outside of the styles I've tried on my daughter. Quickweaves, updos, cuts, twists, stuff like that. I am worried that I will not be able to build clientele, and that I might not fit in, in this salon. They are either family, close friends and have worked together for some years. What do I do. I wanted to open my own salon, but I am running into the problem with funding, and finding a location here in OKC. Any help would be appreciated. Thankx

    • ANSWER:
You have the have an attitude that you do belong there, you are good at "doin' hair" and observe and learn more than trying to fit in. You passed the boards, you have aspirations of being a salon owner, this job is a step in achieving your dream. Get the experience, get your name out there, and you'll raise the money to get your own salon. You might just have a wealthy client impressed with your skills interested in investing in you.
